testes...o i mean testing....

so i'm trying to figure out how to post picture on my blog, and i'm sorta technologically retarded. but here i go. so for testing trial #1, i will post pictures of the love of my life.... my dog. yeah, how sad. jordy is my favoritest! :) heck, even she has a boyfriend... (she's the golden colored one)

that is her and her boyfriend, baker. aren't they adorable together?

and this is them playing tug of war. lovers and friends! how cute!! :)

lotion infused toilet paper

i have an idea for a new invention. well,it's a knock off from the lotion infused kleenex. you know how they have either loition infused or aloe infused kleenex for the poor people with a cold and they've blown their little noses so much it's tender? well, they need lotion infused toilet paper for those who have spent the last 2 days on the toilet with stomach issues. :)

seems like the little bug that went around before christmas caught me finally. i woke up monday morning and i felt kinda weird, but didn't think much of it. went to work, and it just didn't get better. the yucky feeling in my tummy, the "i feel like i'm going to throw up" feeling in my tummy just got worse and worse. finally confessed to my boss that it was going to come out both ends and she laughed at me. (probably serves me right, she's the brunt of many practical jokes i pull around the clinic) so i made my trip to the bathroom and sure enough, i lost all of the little of what i ate that day. i did make the hour drive home with no accidents in my car and proceeded to spend the rest of yesterday and today in bed or on the toilet.

therefore, i contend that someone needs to come up with the lotion infused toilet paper for my tender little butt. :)

New Year, New Look

here's my new year's resolution. blog more. not really. i'm not much of a resolution maker. for the most part, whatever resolution i make, i will break. so my resolution this year is no resolutions. :)

so what's new in my life besides a new look to my blog? nothing really. still work in denver, driving thru gobs and gobs of snow. this is about the time that i kinda wish i was still living in az. at least there's not a blizzard there every week. there's more snow than i've ever seen before (besides on a ski slope). o, well, last week, i just had laser eye surgery to create a scar underneath my slightly torn retina. how i did that, i don't know. but i've been restricted to no strenuous activity for a month til the scar heals up. that means no snow shoveling (darn), no skiing, and no chance to beat jen in basketball. :( o well, wait til next month, i'll have a new eye! :) i have an interview next week at the hospital to be a butt wiper for them. anything not to drive to denver anymore and get in good for a better chance to get into nursing school.

other than that, it's just me and jordy having fun in the snow. it's more like her having the time of her life in the snow and i'm standing out there freezing my butt off wishing she'd hurry. i got a digital camera for myself for christmas (welcome to the new millenium) and once i get more high tech, i'll learn how to put up fun pictures on my blog. (dont' hold your breath though, i'm not the fastest person. there's still a puzzle on my coffee table from october, maybe even september, and it's not done yet.-- i hope my roomie doesn't care)

marry christmas and hoppy new year! :)

wipe old people's butts?!?!?!?!?

ok, so life as i know it is over for the next 4 weeks. this is what my life looks like: i wake up at 5:15 am, drive to work at 6 am, work from 7am to 2:30pm. drive back to greeley for class until 10 pm. go home, get ready for bed, wake up at 5:15 to do it all over again. i have no life. so what is this class i'm taking from 4-10pm, you ask? well, funny you should ask.... this class is the biggest joke of my life. it's a CNA class- certified nurses assistant. it's a class i have to take in order to apply to nursing school. (they make you have that so you can have some sort of medical field background). nevermind that i work in a physical therapy clinic. therefore, i'm in this class of people who either want to be nurses or CNA's, but most have never really worked in anything but mcdonald's or something like that. so here i am in a 6 hour class learning about 1)how to wash my hands, 2)how to remove and make a bed that has been soiled with the person still laying in it, 3)brush someone's teeth for them, 4)brush their dentures, 5)dress an elderly while still in bed, 6)how to put on support stocking for them. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? i'm paying $500 for a class that is so boring and so easy that i sit in class and would rather gauge out my eyes that to sit there in disbelief how some of my classmates could be so dumb. we have to ready 4 or 5 chapters each night and have a quiz the following day, but these questions are mostly common sense, it's scary to think that these people could be taking care of a live human being someday!

so anyways, that's my sad life. work and class all day monday thru thursday, and then i work all day on friday to cover the hours i miss the previous days. i only do this so i can go thru the fast-track year and a half nursing program instead or doing the 4 year thing. and i'm hoping to suck it up and maybe accept a job as a CNA for a few months so i no longer have to drive an hour to and from work anymore. i might soon be wiping old people's poop and pee.

why do i want to do this?????????????

jordy and me

i just finished a book called "marley and me" by jon grogan. it is now one of my favorite books. i'm getting back into reading now since i sit in a cubical of a training room for a couple hours doing nothing, so i read! anyways, marley and me is this great heart warming story about a dog. this dog is quite this rambunctious dog that actually gets expelled from obedience school! :) anyways, it's about a family with the dog as teh central character and how, despite it's flaws, marley is the best dog ever! :)

so i've been inspired to wrote a short story about jordy and me. HAHA, yeah right, i'm not an author, heck, it takes me months and a few proddings to update my blog. audrey from halfway around the globe had to tell me that i had to update my blog because someone is trying to sell my readers valium. heck, i'll take the valium. :)

anyways, here's the 2 second update on my life: i work just north of denver at the same company i worked for in phoenix. i work mornings in the clinic and afternoons at a high school. hopefully that won't last long, i've done my time at a high school. fun, but not my thing anymore. work is also just over an hour away from home. ECH! for the $200 i pay in gas, i save in rent. there's a very nice couple from my church that is renting out a basement apt to jordy and i for a very discounted rate. :) i'm taking an online class to prepare to go back to school- which now is nursing school. i know, i know, it's always something different. but what do you expect from an ADHD kid? :)

so that's about it. i hope that satisfies by blog fans for now. :)

ps. kacie- jordy is still afraid of the fart sound. :) HAHAHAHA

pps. o!!!!! to all jordy lovers- you would be happy to know that my dog has mellowed out!!!!!! WWWWWAAAAHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! she's no longer out of control hyperactive, she's just a happy-to-see-you dog now. :) i'm such a proud mommy. :)

i have a job!!! :)

so i have a job now. i work for the same company- physiotherapy associates- as i did in phoenix. so its good! :) the bad part is that i commute an hour to and from work everyday. BLAH!!! well, it's not everyday. i work four ten hour days so i can cut down on one day of commuting. but either way, it's a job and i'm not bored all the time and i have money again. :)

short and sweet....
